A Message From Matthew Antonio Bosch

Matthew Antonio Bosch serves as Dean of Student Inclusive Excellence and Assistant Professor at Elon University, NC. With degrees from University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, & Cornell, Dr. Bosch’s professional experience spans Academic Affairs, Admissions, Diversity Affairs, and Student Affairs. While Chief Diversity Officer for North Hennepin Community College, he was elected the 1st Latinx President of the Minnesota College Personnel Association, earning statewide recognition from the MN Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as “Top 25 Latino Leaders On The Rise.” Dr. Bosch’s research focuses on the career advancement and intersectional identities of LGBTQ+ professionals in higher education. Providing leadership for diversity and identity centers, he teaches courses in Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies and Elon’s Masters of Higher Education program. Within ACPA, his leadership spans the governing board, assembly leadership, state chapter presidents, network directorates, coalition directorates, and foundation board, also serving as an annual conference presenter and panelist. A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Bosch continues to appreciate how people “took a chance on him” throughout his schooling and career. Crediting ACPA among his list of chance-takers, he strives to give back to the association, igniting his passion to pay it forward so students and professionals feel validated, valued, and victorious.

In Support of ACPA Foundation

Founded in 1994 during the presidency of Charles Schroeder, the purpose of the ACPA Educational Leadership Foundation (501c3 non-profit organization) is “to enhance the student affairs profession and to generate and disseminate knowledge of college students at all levels within higher education” (Article Three of the Articles of Incorporation). The organization is now known as the ACPA Foundation to more concisely communicate its role as the fundraising arm of ACPA College Student Educators International.

The Mission - The ACPA Foundation exists to support the priorities and activities of ACPA by raising funds and developing resources that help the Association fulfill its mission. 

The Vision - The ACPA Foundation will develop sufficient assets to effectively and sustainably fund ACPA’s efforts to provide excellent professional development opportunities to members, advance knowledge in the field, and support the transformative effect of education in the lives of college students.

In order to fulfill its purpose and mission, the Foundation invites members and non-members alike to provide philanthropic support for ACPA's vital initiatives involving research, scholarship, professional development and leadership program.
