A Message From Lisa M. Evaneski

Lisa M. Evaneski is the Title IX Coordinator at SUNY Oswego. Her career in higher education spans 32 years in student orientation, residence life, student conduct, Title IX, and several dean roles. Lisa has presented and consulted at the national and regional level related to higher education compliance and social justice. She helped to create the SUNY Title IX Coordinators Association and is currently serving as Past President. Lisa has been a member of ACPA since 1994 and served on the Mid-Level Community of Practice, Commission for Student Conduct and Legal Issues, Standing Committee for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Awareness and as the Volunteer Coordinator for the 2005 Convention Planning Committee. Through her service with ACPA, Lisa received the Award for Public Service from SCLGBTA in 2001, the Student Impact Award from Commission for SCLI in 2013, and the Outstanding Service to the SCLI Award in 2014. She also served at the state level as President and Membership Coordinator for Massachusetts College Personnel Association and received the Outstanding Service to MCPA award at ACPA in 2003. Lisa earned a B.S. in education at Wheelock College and a M.Ed. in college student development and counseling at Northeastern University.

In Support of ACPA Foundation

Founded in 1994 during the presidency of Charles Schroeder, the purpose of the ACPA Educational Leadership Foundation (501c3 non-profit organization) is “to enhance the student affairs profession and to generate and disseminate knowledge of college students at all levels within higher education” (Article Three of the Articles of Incorporation). The organization is now known as the ACPA Foundation to more concisely communicate its role as the fundraising arm of ACPA College Student Educators International.

The Mission - The ACPA Foundation exists to support the priorities and activities of ACPA by raising funds and developing resources that help the Association fulfill its mission. 

The Vision - The ACPA Foundation will develop sufficient assets to effectively and sustainably fund ACPA’s efforts to provide excellent professional development opportunities to members, advance knowledge in the field, and support the transformative effect of education in the lives of college students.

In order to fulfill its purpose and mission, the Foundation invites members and non-members alike to provide philanthropic support for ACPA's vital initiatives involving research, scholarship, professional development and leadership program.
