  • Meeting the Moment — with Purpose, Partnership, and Action

    The ACPA Foundation, in partnership with the ACPA Leadership Council and the ACPA International Office, is proud to relaunch the Be the Good campaign. 

    ACPA’s Be the Good has always been about turning belief into action, and right now, that belief is needed more than ever. Today, we have an opportunity to reignite this campaign with renewed clarity and purpose, grounded in the realities facing our members and our field.

    Right now, across higher education, we are witnessing deep disruptions:

    Budget cuts impacting our students and colleagues.
    Professional development being defunded.
    Equity-center positions being eliminated.
    Institutional support withdrawn for DEI.

    This is not abstract, these impacts are directly affecting ACPA members. Colleagues across the country are being disconnected from the association and professional home they love, not by choice, but by shifting political and institutional priorities.

    This relaunch of Be the Good is critically important.

    Through October 31, 2025, all funds raised for Be the Good campaign will be focused on fundraising efforts which provide direct support to student affairs professionals through two critical avenues:

    ACPA Membership scholarships to sustain connection and engagement with ACPA
    ACPA26 Convention registration scholarships to support access and participation in Baltimore

    Our goal is to raise $25,000 over the next three months to support these scholarships.

This campaign is more than philanthropy; it is a reflection of our shared values and our collective will to be the good that higher education needs right now.

In Support of ACPA Foundation

Founded in 1994 during the presidency of Charles Schroeder, the purpose of the ACPA Educational Leadership Foundation (501c3 non-profit organization) is “to enhance the student affairs profession and to generate and disseminate knowledge of college students at all levels within higher education” (Article Three of the Articles of Incorporation). The organization is now known as the ACPA Foundation to more concisely communicate its role as the fundraising arm of ACPA College Student Educators International.

The Mission - The ACPA Foundation exists to support the priorities and activities of ACPA by raising funds and developing resources that help the Association fulfill its mission. 

The Vision - The ACPA Foundation will develop sufficient assets to effectively and sustainably fund ACPA’s efforts to provide excellent professional development opportunities to members, advance knowledge in the field, and support the transformative effect of education in the lives of college students.

In order to fulfill its purpose and mission, the Foundation invites members and non-members alike to provide philanthropic support for ACPA's vital initiatives involving research, scholarship, professional development and leadership program.
