  3. ACPA Asian Pacific American Network 40th Anniversary Campaign
  • ACPA Asian Pacific American Network 40th Anniversary Campaign logo
  • Established in 1987, the mission of the Asian Pacific American Network (APAN) is to address the concerns and issues of the Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi/South Asian American (APIDA) faculty, staff, and students in higher education. Our purpose is to provide community, professional development, networking, and affirmation of identity for APIDA professionals. APAN represents APIDA issues and advocates for programs, services, research, and actions within the leadership of the Coalition for Multicultural Affairs and ACPA: College Student Educators International.

As we count down to our 40th anniversary, kicking off at the ACPA 2027 Annual Convention (Toronto, ON, Canada) and culminating at the ACPA 2028 Annual Convention (Atlanta, GA), we aim to fundraise at least $4,000.00 to support APAN's Convention scholarships, awards, and programming for its members. Over the last 5 years, we've awarded a total of 5 Convention Scholarships using our existing funds and nearly $1,100.00 raised since 2023. By our estimates, this campaign's goal equals approximately 20 graduate student Convention registrations, 8 new professional Convention registrations, or 80 awards recognizing our members. Reaching this goal will allow us the means to budget annual support for our members across the next decade.

Giving any amount makes an impact, whether it's $1.00 for every Convention you've attended, $19.87 for APAN's founding year, or $40.00 for our upcoming 40th anniversary.

APAN is also one of the few —if not the only— ACPA Entities with awards dedicated to recognizing outstanding Mentorship and Community Care & Advocacy within ACPA. As you donate, we encourage you to donate in the name of a mentor or organization that has sustained or uplifted you through your trajectory in our profession. Photos of these mentors and/or organizations are also welcome on the Activity Wall below.

If you're interested in supporting our fundraising efforts through our APAN merchandise sales, please visit our APAN Bonfire site.

Thank you for supporting our APIDA communities in student affairs and higher education!

In Support of ACPA Foundation

Founded in 1994 during the presidency of Charles Schroeder, the purpose of the ACPA Educational Leadership Foundation (501c3 non-profit organization) is “to enhance the student affairs profession and to generate and disseminate knowledge of college students at all levels within higher education” (Article Three of the Articles of Incorporation). The organization is now known as the ACPA Foundation to more concisely communicate its role as the fundraising arm of ACPA College Student Educators International.

The Mission - The ACPA Foundation exists to support the priorities and activities of ACPA by raising funds and developing resources that help the Association fulfill its mission.

The Vision - The ACPA Foundation will develop sufficient assets to effectively and sustainably fund ACPA’s efforts to provide excellent professional development opportunities to members, advance knowledge in the field, and support the transformative effect of education in the lives of college students.

In order to fulfill its purpose and mission, the Foundation invites members and non-members alike to provide philanthropic support for ACPA's vital initiatives involving research, scholarship, professional development and leadership program.
